Conn, for Sarah Prineas
This is Conn, Sarah Prineas' magic thief. Her fabulous novel, The Magic Thief,
comes out on June 3rd. (I think it was nice of HarperCollins to choose my birthday as the release date.) I very much enjoyed creating this painting for Sarah--she sent me descriptions and chapter sections to work from, then enthusiastically greeted each stage as it was sent to her, giving honest commentary at the same time. I think the final result reflects the joy of the process.
