All three of these paintings were drawn for Mary Anne Mohanraj, whose baby is due today. She needed a birth announcement and I was delighted to paint for her. Two other friends are in the process of having a child this spring, too, and I thought of all three of these women as I painted. As for what you see here, I hope it speaks for itself.
