Snow dragon 07014 Here is a snow dragon in its natural habitat, among the clouds of winter.  I painted this one while climbing in the mountains of Tibet ; I came round a steep slope and there was the dragon.  As you see, the sun was rising over its shoulder.  It happened to be the day of the winter solstice. (No, I haven't actually been to Tibet yet.) Back to winter holidays All images ©2002-2007
